My goal is not to simply take pictures, it is to create beautiful artistic photographs, all the while producing photographs everyone will love and cherish for a lifetime.

Hey there! I am Jamie Smith, a 22 year old college, student, mother, and wife. I love photography and have to admit it consumes me. I use a professional DSLR Nikon D40. I am still getting familiar with it, so I am looking to gain experience with willing subjects, while building my portfolio!
 
My style is the macro shots or "close ups," with a small depth of field and I love nature photos. I also tend to shoot mainly candid shots when referring to portraits. My daughter is my main subject on that end of the spectrum. I am looking to expand my skills in the candid potrait photography, which means I do not have a studio with a backdrop. (I will be aquiring a "traveling studio" soon!) I believe the candid shots, however still able to be guided in posing, convey a great message of time and are absolutely lovely.
